I'll start off.
Good
I spent less than 1,800 dollars on gas in the past 12 months.
Bad
I've spent $3,200 on alcohol in the past 12 months
I've spent $2,200 on amazon in the past 12 months

Enter in all of your bank and credit card log in info and it pulls it all into one place.
It will track your spending, let you create customizable budgets and savings goals, and even track your retirement accounts.

Love it.

Yes.
It's also run by quicken (intuit), so it's legit.

I'll do the best I can, starting from August/September, 2011, so 8 months.
Good:
Gas: $420 (I work from home)
Groceries: $906. GF lives with me now and helps, but might be explained by the bad things I do.
Bad:
$957 at Restaurants.
$849 in Alcohol/Bars.
$800 for Vet. Random allergy issues and his yearly shots just happened.

That in my book would fall under the good category, and would deserve a pat on the back.

Ah frick, for some reason when I go under Budgets, part of what I spent is shown under my Budget for Restaurants with the colored bar, the other part shows up under "Everything Else"
I'm guessing this was because I didn't always have a restuarant budget in Mint.
SO the accurate number is now, $1,426.
Plus Fast Food at 267 = 1,700. Damn it.
Alcohol is correct though.
ETA: Should have done this under "Trends" and track Spending by Category.
The Budget screen doesn't work well if you have months where you didn't have that category as a budget which sorta makes sense.

I see this as a positive FWIW. I hope you have prime.

So true, what is the right amount of $ purchase that requires a discussion? I want to see we usually use $250.00.

It doesn't seem to matter, to be honest...

I stopped using Mint when I stopped working for a semester. It was too aweful to look at. I should probably start using it again.

If you need a program to tell you where you spend your money and how to budget...
I can't even think of a way to appropriately finish that sentence.

I am generally pretty responsible about most spending. I like nice things and when I make big purchases I go all-out, but I'm not an impulse shopper and generally don't make stupid or unnecessary purchases I regret.
I'll pull up some specifics when I get home but my food spending is absolutely out of control.

Mint did not like my recent trip to New Orleans. Lots of over budget updates.
