The China trade rumors are just breaking today

Yep. You nailed it.
Now I will tell you what is REALLY going on from an active trader perspective:
They are trying to squeeze all the shorts they can with all this BS nonsense before the real fireworks begin. Think of all these moves since Oct. as a rubberband. They were stretched too far on the downside and now they are stretched too far on the upside.
Only having that one real pullback off the bottom tells ME that the big one is coming SOONER rather than later. We may not even get to Spring before it starts.
Once you learn how the market truly speaks, only THEN can you appreciate the action because you will learn that the "NEWS" follows the price action, not the other way around. Put simply, once the public tries to "trade the news" it has already been priced in and markets head the OTHER direction.
Trading 101. Great job Reb, YOU, my friend, get it.

Your posts show that you have knowledge about the stock market but you lack wisdom.
What's the difference between knowledge and wisdom?
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is knowing you don't put a tomato in a fruit salad.
Your posts put tomatoes in the fruit salad.....

I remember that day a few weeks ago when you said something similar, said the market was primed for a jump on that day, and it dropped 600 points

I want ANYONE in the room that wants to take a shot at this simple question to come forward:
If things have been SOOOO GREAT and there has been such a big "recovery" off the March 2009 bottom then why on God's Green Earth are such drastic emergency global central bank efforts still taking place TODAY?
Why every single time we hear of ANY Central Bank trying to "normalize" do they turn around and pull a trick the other direction?!?!
If you TRUST all these "leaders" and Central Banks, you deserve the A S S kicking that is forthcoming.

You mean like when the Fed wanted to normalize interest rates, and then they raised them?

My little alter friend. Coming out of the woodwork. How nice.

Nope. Like when they SAID they were "normalizing" and kept doing QE.
IF you TRUST these guys, you will pay dearly.
I would NOT want to be long going into this 3 day weekend. I promise you THAT.

Only China's Peoples Bank of China, among the large economies, has been actively trying to stimulate its economy and that's due to the slowdown of the Chinese economy resulting from the U.S. trade tariffs.
You operate in a parallel, imaginary universe.

They quit posting their balance sheet info on their site. Check it out.
Emporer has no clothes and the entire globe will see it soon.
I HONESTLY wish I had better news because I do NOT want to see people hurt!

It takes a fool to be short going into a long weekend. That’s how you exceed margin calls and lose more than you have.
Posted on 1/18/19 at 11:08 am to Shepherd88
I never use margin. Keep up with the thread.
It's nice of the Fed to once again post what they are doing? Anyone here TRUST them?!?!
Why have they fought tooth and nail at being audited?!?!
