Did Salesforce kill this theory? Or do people still buy into this nonsense?

I personally hope the narrative remains unchanged so I can get more cheap software shares

I think CRM, NOW, PLTR and ZETA are the places to be right now. Long runway up from here

Crazy thing is, CRM’s TTM PE actually dropped from 23.8 to 23.1 after the 23% gain today. It’s still on sale imo

I sold out of all of these to buy more OUST, NBIS, AMD, DRAM. Made small profits on all but NOW. 30% loss on NOW but I made some gains on the stocks I bought. Good luck to those that have been waiting on the Saas rebound!!

Yes all of those are still on sale. Even PLTR. I’m in deep with CRM and ZETA. Small amount of PLTR. No position as of yet in NOW

And MSFT as well I believe is still undervalued

A lot of that is accounting gamesmanship with their employee stock options. They buy back shares and lower the PE, then they turn around and re-issue the shares back to employees. If their PE legitimately shrinks it’s due to layoffs whose grants never vested.

I definitely sold my CRM a couple weeks too soon, but I won’t miss wondering every day if the bottom is about to fall out again.

Maybe I am wrong, but I believe the value in Microsoft, Oracle etc is the support. When there is an outage with your AI generated applications who you gonna call to get the business back in operation?

I agree a lot of non core applications can be developed by AI, but those core platforms that are the backbone of keeping a large corporation operational 24/7 are too critical to just wing it and hope it does not fail.

I don’t understand how crm escaped all the fake AI mockups they advertised that didn’t actually work. To this day, nobody has anything positive to say about the product except Benioff.

It’s pretty clear his plans are to provide embedded support to a couple megacorps with limitless budgets to prove their product is viable. I question how that model will scale for the majority of businesses with budgets and who don’t receive personalized support.
