Elon is a decade behind.
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND LIDAR"
I see you've learned deflection from him as well. All those suckers who bought cars for FSD, only to sell them after a decade of empty promises. Cucks.

you are right you dont know.
Waymo uses LIDAR, radar, and cameras systems in their car.
... 4 LiDARs, and 6 radar unit
The LiDARs are expensive. Waymo claimed to have brought expenses down from $75K/unit to $7.5K/unit. They are secretive about their costs, but assuming they are now down to $5K/unit that is $20K just on LiDAR x 4, plus another $5K-$10K on the radar array.
Elon is doing the same thing with cameras and software. So when the poster claimed Elon was a decade behind, it was not an informed opinion.

Millions? Probably not. Hundred of thousands, I guarantee it. Although to get to millions won’t be a significant challenge since FSD is already on Tesla’s owned by consumers. It’s all up to local governments.
