Like many in here waited to long trying to time it and missed the big bounce. We all guilty of it though. The only reason i bought at the bottom was because i bought at the top as well. just hoping to meet in the middle

Good thing they’re all corrupt and incompetent. I bought some OTM calls in preparation for 1st QTR earnings

Short/weekly or longer duration? Sell after the run up or do you plan to hold them for awhile?

Holding for awhile. I feel pretty good about their margins and demand increase post price cut. Initial production of the cyber truck shortly after q1 will keep retail attention. Elon also seems to be more temperate lately which bodes well with getting the govt off his back and publicly working with him again. Example being the new Nevada gigafactory announced by the White House. Tesla has a lot of momentum right now. The “Elon bad” phase has waned.

Glad I didn’t listen to all the guys on here that said it will be at 40 or $50 after earnings

Put 10K on $130.

Yeah most of those guys were saying the market was going to crash and burn as well. They probably still sitting on their cash waiting for just the right moment.

Yesterday was a killer for you. Like you hit a series of 3 pointers from half court.

Anybody take this bet at the time?

No because it’s a stupid bet. Do any of Tesla’s performance metrics and revenue expansion point to a significant decline? No. But the short term price of Tesla stock is impacted by more than the company. The market has been volatile since Covid. Tesla is a long term hold. Buy and in 10 years you’ll wish you would’ve bought a lot more. It’s our my generations google, Amazon etc.

Idk about that, if you’re talking about it from a performance standpoint. It’s already had their kind of performance over the last 4 years.

I like Tesla long term - I own it - but it’s not exactly a ground floor kind of investment.

You’ll get a lot more out of $110 puts versus some MT clout if this is what you believe.

Not ground floor but still early relative to where they see themselves regarding revenue expansion.

Then you don't fully understand the potential Tesla brings to the table. The cars are but a small portion.

Sigh. I’m well aware of what Tesla says they’ll do and the technology they have, but this whole “cars are a small portion” idea is ridiculous. The cars have been and continue to be the vast majority of what they do. Plus, the market gives them a very, very healthy multiple to account for the hopes and dreams segments of the company.
