Sales up 3% in 2nd qtr
Earnings per share: $2.57 vs. $2.18 expected
Revenue: $25.45 billion vs. $25.21 billion expected

They have remodeled or cleaned up a few of the stores around here. In general I have avoided Target, but the last few times I went it was a nicer experience, and their grocery prices were more in line with what I paid at other places.

I took a flyer on it when they got woke and sales fell. Just like I did with BUD.
BUD paid off nicely going from 45 to 60.
Today will see target get above ground for me and I expect to see some further gains as analysts start revising upward.

Saw a segment with their CEO on Squawkbox today. One of the most concise best interviews I have seen. Thats all I got.

They’ve cleared their stores of the tranny stuff. Their marketing has gone back to mainstream.

I do too but that is truly a bad company and is even to this day.
Target tho, just made some stupid decisions and it cost them.
Bud did the same thing.
Both companies abandoned woke and the sales and stock prices recovered nicely.

When I walked in and saw the LQBTQ mannequin in the very front of the store which was clearly marketed to tweens.. I committed to avoiding TGT.
TBH.. it’s a good big box retailer. They just got sucked into the BS and did in fact pay for it. They’ll be fine without me.

For what reason? Just curious.
As for TGT, unless something drastic happens before 4:01 PM tomorrow, my short 128 strike 8/23 puts will remain dust bunnies.
