Until speculative traders are out, I don’t think it will. Hopefully it does one day though. Negative correlation would be a nice perk.

When I say it’s normal I mean the equity markets and the bond markets are finally making more sense. That’s a good thing I’d you’re a long term investor. I know you like to joke but these things makes more sense to boomers than they do to millennials, just as 2020 markets made more sense to millennials than they did to boomers.

Yep, weeks like these make me tell myself, “See, this is why it’s your play money account.”

prolonged real negative rates also kill boomer pensions , though, right?

seems like we will see a short-lived sell-off in bitcoin and commodities which could get quite ugly, but the recovery to ATHs could be aggressive.

bitcoin is still in the adoption phase, idk how it would react in a more mature market

It'll come back. It always does. Like everything, buy the dips and ride it back up, don't sell at the bottom.

Inflation erodes fixed income streams, obviously. Most pensions are fixed, so negative or positive real rates can be a problem.

Tough way to play corrections. Buy stocks you like at prices you like. Don’t get greedy either way.
