EOG crushed earnings as expected and declared a special dividend.
This will be near $100 if oil continues to go up into the summer as projected. Good time to be in O&G.

I love how the financial sector dumped this morning on the jobs news and treasury yields lowering at the same time, then rallied back.

I'm typically a dividend investor. Portfolio has done very well over the past 3 years. This past year, I decided to put some of my bonus money into "growth stocks". Lol @ me. Bought the following stocks in March:
-PLTR
-TTCF
-DKNG
And bought COIN at IPO
Looks like I'll be holding the bag for a while

i switched to more dow related stocks last week because the dow just keeps chugging along. HD, Costco, SMG (solid, and also a back door MJ play), LULU, CAT, X, SHW
Added EOG as well for possibly a short term hold. We'll see. Could see a small drop soon because of a recent run up.

i would be completely cool with just getting back to 200 dollars a day. things got so out of control with making huge gains in january and the first week in february that my expectations got completely out of whack. stability is good for a while. Just forget about the losses and start over. can add more high flyers later as things noticeably have turned in nasdaq stocks.
this board is heavily in tech. we need to start talking about non-tech stocks more.

Couldn't agree more. I bought 60 shares at $93 on on April 3, 2020. Seemed like such a no brainer at the time that I psyched myself out of going all in on it. Wish I would have bought 600 shares

Trimmed some AAPL today, which I’ve held for a decade +. Seriously considering selling some tech for a loss, which I rarely do. Just to stop the daily bleed. ROKU, TDOC, etc. I’ll give it another day (been saying that for weeks/months it seems).

I'm in the same boat and I'm just going to ride. It's ugly but ROKU and SQ specifically cannot stay down like this if they keep going, and they will.
A little less confident in TDOC but it does have potential to be a monster.
