Please correct if this is wrong. Trying to understand options better myself
Somebody is betting that in Jan of 2023 PINS will be significantly above $100
They paid $27K (1,000 shares at $27) today for the right to buy $70K (1,000 shares at $70) 2 years from now.
Total price per share would be $27 + $70. So to break even the price would need to be $97 in Jan 2023. But they obviously want to make money and risk losing the $27k entirely so they are betting that it will be significantly above $97

I might be wrong but I think 1000 calls means 1000*100 so 100,000 shares.

This market is unreal. My portfolio is up 52% since Nov 10.
I only made one option trade, which accounts for 2% of that growth, and didn't play any penny stocks, so that rise seems absolutely insane.

Yeah hard to think there won’t be a pull back. I’m up 75 percent since mid September.

Yeah... the last month has been insane. Up 148% since Nov 16.
