I'm looking great pre-market. I'm sure it will last about 5 minutes.

That is what they are trying to do, but Pelosi is trying to get money to illegal aliens and arse tons of money to bail out the cities that have been ravaged by the left (when it was their fault).

To be fair the republicans are also trying to bailout the airlines again which is equally getting in the way. remove all the bs and give the money directly to people. Seems like Trump finally figured out that is the way ahead and what will resonate with the public

Trading GRWG between 14 and 17 has been such an easy money maker.

Seeing as to how the airlines have had to shut down due to the virus, this is something that a COVID stimulus bill should help with. Giving free health care to illegals, on the other hand, doesn't have a thing to do with the shut down.

Cities and what brings in their revenue has also had to shutdown. The airlines also aren't shutdown, people just aren't flying.

I just think arguing one over the other is WEAK. IMO don't bail out anything just give money directly to people.

I've felt from the beginning that the majority of the money should've gone to small businesses. They need to stay solvent so that people have jobs to go back to. I also said at the beginning of this that giving politicians carte blanche to start spending money in an election year is one of the worst things that could happen to this country.

Pretty sure both sides are in agreement on the airlines.

I was so happy to get away from that. I kept getting stuck with it for long periods.

It's not the same, the airlines are in trouble because of Covid, the cities being bailed out have been in financial turmoil for 10-20 years. It would be like bailing out the banks in 09', they caused the problem but let's help them out anyway.

Airlines didn't help themselves spending a ton on stock buybacks. Let them fail. They have already received money once (actually twice now if we go back a few years), that money is better served going into mine and yours pockets.

I’m much more familiar with tech companies, but I’ve been surprised during the pandemic at just how poorly run a lot of airlines are.

I hear you, but if the government is going to require people to take actions that will directly cause them to lose money, whether that be right or wrong shouldn’t the people not have to suffer.

My problem is that a lot of people who didn’t “qualify” for the stimulus checks who did well last year, have also suffered this year. If the government had thought out this from the beginning, the stimulus should have been a percentage of what you paid in last year in federal taxes.

So if you paid 60k in taxes last year you get 6k, etc. Instead, they send out a 1200 bucks or whatever it was to a large portion of the population that didn’t pay shite in the first place, and those that paid the most didn’t get a thing, and will continue not to. It’s a fricking sham.
