I set exit positions today for several tech holdings, including one board sweetheart, that I think are probably good long term holds. Some of this exuberance has got me seriously jittery and I feel confident taking the profit on a couple of these. I don't see any way some of these hold. I'll still have big positions in Apple and Amazon and a decent stake in a NASDAQ fund (my original investment has doubled and I'm taking it out).

You're likely correct. I'm going to take the profits and use them as the down payment on 141 more acres of irrigated farmland. I'll have three more years of a lease locked in at $225 per acre to another farmer and between the down payment and those lease payments, it'll give me ~40% equity in the land. May be a mistake long-term, but the opportunity came knocking.

South Georgia. It's on the high end of rent for sure, but I've heard of a spot or two going for $250-285 in the last few years. Produce has driven land rent up.
