Was there any kind of announcement?
There was and Sparc has signed a deal with the world's 3rd largest paint producer to supply their Ecosparc graphene base additive and AkzoNobel will use it in one of their products.
This could really get the ball rolling, as other paint companies will want to get in on the action - especially since the process of adding the Ecosparc is simple and requires no additional equipment.
If there is a demand for AkzoNobel graphene enhanced paint, which they are apparently promoting as a paint made for extreme weather conditions, then they could use it in other paint lines and other paint companies should follow.
Extreme conditions don't just happen on the seas and in the polar regions. It happens everywhere. This could be really big in a year or two...

I think a good application would be on offshore platforms and all tbe equipment they use.
All marine industries.
Also for vehicles in cold climates where road salt is used.

Here in Florida, we have sea air and hot, humid conditions. In the Midwest, they get the salt from the roads, but they get extreme temperature swings from below zero to 100+.
Marketing campaigns can sell this stuff as "Military Grade" extra protection against rust, fading, etc...
