Someone please help me with buying crypto using Coinbase wallet

I'm new to this but I see a consistent pump and dump pattern on this particular Pepe coin and want to get in to take advantage of the eventual next one.
My problem is that it's not tradeable on Coinbase so I have to go to Coinbase Wallet for it. I'm guessing I have to buy it with Ethereum but every time I try to do this, it tells me the record is not found.
What am I doing wrong here?
Also, there's an absolute shite ton of Pepe coins apparently but this is the specific one I'm wanting to buy.

Just use Robinhood, so much better, lower fees and easy to sell/buy.

Back out now if you don't know what you're doing. You will get rekt trading memes, especially the copycat meme coins.

Use crypto.com but if you wanna purchase on CB wallet.
Link your CB and CB Wallet
Buy ETH on CB and send it to your CB Wallet ETH address
Then buy PEPE with the ETH you just sent.

That coin appears to be on the binance network which is not supported on Coinbase. You would have to get binance coin from somewhere else to send to your wallet to trade for it

Yea I’ve been learning more about it since starting this thread and it doesn’t look like something I’m going to buy. Not understanding it initially may have saved me
