The timing of that jump was insane...the chart shows huge green bars every minute for 4 minutes, then a few minute pause, and then 3 more. Right before the close. Crazy how they could move the stock up 100% in about 8 minutes. Who in the hell is buying at those levels?
I don't have access to the in depth charts like some do, but I'm curious how big the blocks being purchased were.

I have no evidence, but it feels like it could've been. I mean this thing was trading straight sideways/down for the entire month of February. And then out of nowhere it jumps 100+% in 8 minutes?

There were blocks of 737k at 3:44 and 1.8 million at 3:45. Those were after a few million+ blocks a few minutes leading up.
Quants and algos probably started picking it up, not individuals.
