This thread is for any and all random thoughts concerning money/crypto/investing etc.

Ill start:

I dont get enough credit for the current good stock market run. I have 70k sitting on the sidelines. The second I pull the trigger and invest it the market will take a 20% dive....so you're all welcome

Seems high. Only 3 other times been higher. Also last recession was 8 years ago....

NVDA - 52.85
HPQ - 14.44
GOOG - 36.2
F - 11.6
GM - 26.96
BA - 27.42
BABA - 60.85
AAPL - 18.7
CVS - 15.16

All sectors are high but in line with market medians. BABA a bit crazy

none of that shite matters anymore.
Tax cuts + buybacks = 2018 bullish continuation.

So for 2018 I can just throwmy 120k cash on hand in SPY and hike the Appalachia trail. Come back, oil is at 90 and my money is up 10% ++?? Sounds like a plan

world stocks are on their longest streak (without a 5% correction) in history, the last few weeks have seen that exuberance accelerate with MSCI World now at its most 'overbought' since the summer of 1987... and we know what happened next.

I think there are A LOT of people with huge cash positions. I am approx 50% cash
