Or if its a publicly traded company, use any generic finance website (yahoo, google, morningstar) and they almost always have a "competitors" or some such section.

SEC and NAICS are both going to be official.

Yeah we use CapIQ for comps and it sorts by NAICS. Although I'm sure you know now, it can be extremely broad and you have to sort through it to get good coms. Then again, that's quite literally part of why they pay me.

We use FactSet for most things and then we have some industry-specific stuff that some of the different groups use. I think our bank analysts use CapIQ.

Yeah, my commute right now is typically around 20 minutes, but traffic has gotten predictably shitty in the last week.
Must have gotten bad karma for f'n with you last week about whining about the cost of tires. Wife's car into the shop this AM, $1,100+ in repairs, FML. This is countered by the check engine light finally turning off Saturday - which had been on for 3-months - enabling the SUV to pass the emissions test and renewing the license tag without having to pay another $400 bucks to replace O2 or air flow sensor which happened the two prior years. Will never buy QT gas again, 3/3 the last times using their gas making the light come on with sensor issues.

Don't know if this is the right place but several months ago, maybe a year ago, someone posted a series of maps of New Orleans showing each neighborhood by income, educational level, crime level, etc. I can't find them. Anyone know where they're at?

Averaging ~12 hrs a day but the work is great. What's the status update on everyone else?

18-20/day for the last few weeks. Isn't fun but I'm getting used to it.

About 10 a day. Someone mentioned coming in on Sundays, so I'm thinking that's going to be an issue they start pushing soon. If that happens, I think meals will start going on the corporate card.

Working from home for a few hours Sat and Sun has been standard.
Athanatos...I guess it is just like any kind of routine you have to get used to. You'll definitely earn your stripes after 2 years.

I'm usually here from about 9 to 10. We basically average about 60 hours a week with bumps here and there. For the money and the work, I'm not complaining. They give us a lot of responsibility and free reign, but also a lot of help/education/mentoring/whatever. Its a great environment for someone to develop in, and we will have a full bullpen next week when they bring in the other two new hires.
eta: The VPs straight up told us to expense meals all the time. The guy from nola that I know said he expensed dinner literally every night for 2 years when he was an analyst. So, I'm building that into my budget.

I expense everything. Haven't paid for a meal in the last 1.5 months.
