Question about FIFA "clean stadium "policy

So FIFA evidently has always removed/covered up the corporate sponsors of stadiums for FIFA events to basically not give publicity to any sponsor with which they have not made a specific agreement.
My question is: wouldn't the sponsors of the various stadiums cry foul on this? I would assume that ....let's say Sofi in Los Angeles ....paid for the naming rights to be displayed at every event that takes place at the building. Wouldn't those sponsors be losing out on significant value that would've been priced into their sponsorship agreement of the building?

would assume its in a contract somewhere. If FIFA doesn't get their way on this, your stadium isn't used.
As for Sofi - the TV announcers continually referred to it as that. And would think some signage would have to say Sofi, it has never had another name you could call it by (ex Superdome instead of Caesar's Superdome)

In Arlington they covered up the ATT Signage. Im pretty sure they have covered up every signage, except heard someone say they weren't able to cover up the Mercedes logo on the roof in Atlanta since that is part of the opening mechanism.

They create a new name for the stadiums based on location. Met Life is New York New Jersey Stadium for example.

Supposedly FIFA is one of the scummiest, most money grubbing corporations in the world. Which is why they previously went to Qatar and why their games are empty right now as fans can’t afford the ridiculously overpriced tickets. Not surprised by this stadium sponsor tactic
