Southlake Tiger
Yes, Frisco raised the rate water rate by 6% this year. Average was $136. Highest was $207 in both July and August. Lowest was $96 in January. I have a lawn sprinkler system and usage, of course, depends on rainfall and high temperature. This year I hand the yard resodded with Zoysia and watered it like crazy.

I can relate. Moved in 2020 and water bill was $125 and just received latest bill $260. Sprinkler is in off mode.

Natural gas rates have skyrocketed. I'm in a business that uses a lot of it and the rate/unit essentially tripled from last year.
Why? I thought my had a surplus of natural gas.

The issue is relative to Entergy they have no or ineffective hedging and we all ended up paying the natural gas spot prices when they spiked during the cold snaps. The council, as Delta’s regulator, didn’t bother to ask their hedging strategy or if they would when they made the deal. There’s no financial benefit to them to hedge because it ties up capital and they get to pass the cost on to you as a fuel charge.

Mine hasn’t been above $24 since moving to delta. And that was a singular high month during the cold weather. It’s usually below $20

Ours jumped from about $35 to $40 in the past several months
Only thing gas we use is oven/stovetop.
