I think there will be an opportunity to catch it under 42. That guidance is gonna turn people off short term.

I agree I like it for the long-term investment aspect, but short-term and options are gonna feel that for a little bit

It looks like they beat most of the expectations, right?

We appear to be FIRMLY on the BULLISH side.

Here's the quick guide for Thursday.
Q3 guidance is likely the most important number.
60 million+ would be huge. Under 58 is not so hot.

$55 million in revenue, up 56% year over year and up 12% sequentially.
Shipped more than 17,000 lidar and camera sensors for revenue, of which lidar was approximately 53% of the total.
GAAP gross margin of 49%, up 400 bps year over year and up 600 bps sequentially.
GAAP net loss of $18 million, an improvement of $2 million year over year and down $1 million sequentially.
Non-GAAP gross margin1 of 53%, up 200 bps year over year and 700 bps sequentially.
Adjusted EBITDA1 loss of $4 million, an improvement of $1 million year over year and $2 million sequentially.
Cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash, and short-term investments of $263 million as of June 30, 2026.

Literally bought every share that I could.
Not concerned.
Fantastic numbers, even if they sandbag the guide, which they should not.

Everyone is waiting on the guide, which can send it.

Beat across board

Semi flat Q3 rev guidance (conservative as always from ouster)

I’m not worried. We had a selloff on Q1 release then came back with a face-melting rip the couple trading sessions after

Oh, I see it now.
For the third quarter of 2026, Ouster expects to achieve $54.5 million to $57.5 million in total revenue.

Yeah, that was a dumb move.

yeah, you'll lead off the press release signing 55 million in revenue in saying it's the 17th quarter of successive growth and then you give arrange for the next queue with the bottom end below 55 million effectively introducing the possibility of breaking the very streak you're bragging about - I mean if that's what they truly believe fine but that's kind of tough messaging

Can you elaborate just a bit? Do you mean that sandbagging guidance was the dumb move? Rest looks amazing, in my opinion

Well said. Agree that setting Q3 rev guidance lower bound below Q2 actual is not ideal

Exactly what igoringa said.

You can't guide for what would essentially be a flat quarter at this point.
Especially when you have a lot of ground to make up for the be within the full year range near 220mm
It's perplexing.

Management went too soft on guidance. It happens. Doesn’t change the long term story for me
