So is SOL going to take off as a crypto? Are a lot of these NFTs moving to SOL from ETH?

it kinda already has. Up over 100% over the past month. It’s got the 10th biggest market cap. Still has room to grow, IMO.

The low gas fees make it really enticing so there’s a lot of NFTs coming to solana right now

I sell at a loss damn near every day. But with the mint price so low on most (and by low I mean in crypto terms. E.g: 0.03 ETH per is cheap as hell, but that's still $100) the downside is limited, while the upside is massive even on short term plays.

My strategy now is mint a lot, recoup immediately, ride the rest and reverse DCA on the climb. "Problem" with that is I usually run out before the "moon." But honest the only one I regret so far is bored apes, I knew it was a terrible idea when I was doing it but I needed the liquidity I don't remember wtf for at the time.

It's pretty clearly a bubble now, so for those of you starting you might want to observe for a while before doing anything.

And in other news my topshot acct unrealized also turned green yesterday.

ive been taking a more methodical approach; I rarely mint unless I have a pretty good feel for the culture of the nft and the developers commitment

I've missed some moons like bayc but my downside risk has been mitigated

but maybe I should change my strategy and cast a wider net, you've made me think now

I also have moved mostly to sol now because you're getting in the ground floor with a chance to buy legacy sol NFTs, like eth punks

Topshot is the only nft I have delved into so far. I ended up just selling mine and making a few hundred bucks. Not really sure if it was worth the effort though.

topshots is scuffed because they don't use crypto wallets for minting.

they need to change that bc buying with a credit card does not offer the same feel as connecting your crypto wallet and minting an nft.

Solana monkey business, mint 2 Sol, floor 18 sol

degan ape mint 5 sol, floor 33 sol (2 weeks old)

llamas mint 4 sol, floor 7.4 sol (1 week old)

at minimum every project has nearly doubled. gm haters

Cool, thanks. So is it a marketplace as well? Damn, I need more time. I’m overwhelmed, but wanna get in the game. So safe to say it’s not as easy as buying one, wait, flip? For instance the Chihuahuas that are auctioning now?

I've been in crypto for almost 5 years now and don't understand how it works or how to buy

Granted, all I've worked with is centralized exchanges so I have a huge gap in understanding how to participate in NFTs

if you're flipper you're going to have better odds of making money by minting on release date and then selling on the secondary market

auctions are a different strategy

NFT marketplace will be 5-10% of the crypto market in a few years
