Long time lurker, first time poster here.
I've been reading the MT for years, but never had much to add so I never created an account. Got into ETH a few days ago and I check this thread about fifty times a day, so I figured it was time to jump in.
Ended up getting in around the 140s, and while I'm certainly a microscopic minnow compared to the majority of posters in this thread, this has already been a blast to be a part of. Just want to say I appreciate the commentary and insight presented so far!

Yeah it's basically the same as using a cc/debit card on coinbase

i go shower and shave and it goes from 164 to 148 (on polo, so add 12-13 for gem/CB rates)

I have limit buy orders set for .25 ETH for every dollar from 140-145

i'm an idiot. yesterday morning when i woke up at 630 to piss and it was like 120, i could have used the $80 i have in cash on CB to buy like .75 (or .70 after fees i guess) ETH. all i had to do was click a button and i was too sleepy to realize that

If I buy on Polo, can I transfer to Coinbase? If so, why don't more people do that with the large price gaps?

yeah you just have to move from one wallet to another. took me about 5 min this morning (CB to Polo)

i asked about the gap and it's not really that big. CB is translated to USD, while Polo uses USDT, which isn't a 1:1 match

Looking like we will have another nice dip down to around $150 ish today. I believe once the new china exchanges start buying on May 31, we will see this run back to $200.
