I just got a nano x in mail and set it up, I can’t figure out how to send my links to it. I downloaded ethereum but it doesn’t give me a send or receive address. I see it on ledger live but it won’t let me access it. Any help from the money board geniuses would be great.

Ledger Live has send/receive buttons on the lefthand side. Click receive and a window should pop up with I think 4 steps. Follow the prompts.

Please note , just like with myether wallet - to send out your LINK one day Youll need some

No that is not true. Crypto in general is controlled by whales right now. Every coin is subject to extreme manipulation until the segment grows substantially.
