you need to look at what problem Iota is solving and is the token necessary. I don’t know much about Iota but if it’s claim is a new blockchain with fast transactions with no one using it then it’s not gonna succeed

That’s the difference between link and all these others. If it wants to compete with ETH and be it’s on blockchain it’s probably a shite coin. Link is about connecting external data to blockchain whether it be eth btc, hyperledger, etc.

I invested in some shitcoins (ICX, VEN, ECA) but when it came down to it I took the loss and moved it to Link. Smartcontracts are what will evolve this space not cryptocurrency.

Well if that is how you came to your conclusion about LINK then I remain skeptical.

I’m just being honest. i’ve looked into iota several times and was never intrigued enough by their roadmap or tokenomics that I thought hey this is a solid investment.

Link on the other hand from the first day I heard about it I thought well frick if this doesn’t work then this whole crypto thing will fail. Then down the rabbit hole I went...

Have you looked at $DAG? Seems like a good symbiotic relationship with link.

Debating on buying BTC or Link with this dip. Either BTC under 7k or Link under 2.20

I’m still waiting on Eth to get back to the 800s so I can break even

Honestly if it would just get to 400s I’d probably say frick it and sell

When bitcoin inevitably goes back to around 10 will it drive the price of link down? Why is link holding strong with speculators? Debating on selling and buying back.

Maybe this?

BREAKING: Chinese President Xi Jinping just publicly supported China going all-in on blockchain technology across their economy.

This will be the space race of our generation.

America has to embrace the technology, including Bitcoin, or we risk being left behind

The largest “centralized” government in history going all-in on a technology who has a primary property of decentralization, doesn’t really make a lot of sense.

Not that it doesn’t have its place or its importance, but this seems a bit (of very) hyperbolic. In fact, things that usually end up being that important, rarely, if ever need to be touted as such for years and years by a relatively small group of people, most of whom aren’t actually involved in the thing itself.

In fact, when I was trying and failing to understand its hoopla a couple years back, I discovered that there are many within the tech background to understand its technological uses, that failed to see it as well.
I was more surprised to learn that many of the things that people cite as why its so important and useful are handled (and babe been for a while) by other technologies, and sometimes handled more efficiently and effectively.
