Does the value of the LINK coin come from users having to use the coin in order to use the blockchain?

there is no “link” blockchain. It is he Chainlink oracle network which is run by users running Link nodes for a decentralized oracle network. You pay the node operators in Link and the node operators stake their reputation with Link tokens as collateral. If we start talking high value contracts then the cost of the contract will need to be equal to the penalty deposits to guarantee trustworthy and reliable data. Link is divisible up to 16 decimal places. Even if it is worth a high amount the contract can be paid for in say .1 Link if needed so the high price doesn’t matter. It probably has the best tokenomics out of any crypto.

I’ve been trading for months and last week they disabled my trading and locked me out of account with close to 20 grand in there. I couldn’t talk to anyone but a foreign lady that couldn’t help me at all. Terrible terrible Customer service and this is what they sent me.
Hello there,

Thanks for contacting Coinbase.

Coinbase reviewed your account and has determined that you are not eligible to use the Coinbase platform to purchase cryptocurrency or use our deposit services. As such, you are no longer eligible to link any payment methods. We are not able to provide you with any additional information.

You will be able to transfer, sell, or withdraw any balance currently in your Coinbase account. Please note, you may need to wait until funds are available for withdrawal and we will not be able to expedite this process.

We're sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Kind Regards,

It’s been the worst week of my life trying to get back in to my account, zero support from these idiots. Be very careful on this site. Keep in mind, if this happened to me it will happen to you. There was no reason at all and they couldn’t give me an explanation.

Lesson learned! I thought a company based out of San Francisco in the US would be fine to store currency. They could confiscate your crypto and it would take an act of Congress to get it out. I’ve had more anxiety over it last week than anything I can think of.

That’s good. Just remember the overarching point of crypto is you do not have to trust an Intermediary with your money

So when you eventually decide to sell - what’s your plan? Where do you propose to sell your stuff?

Link is on fire! My friend has been telling me about Link for a while now. I saw it trending up this week so finally decided to buy a little(unfortunately, a small amount) at $2.37 a couple days ago on Coinbase. This was my first ever crypto purchase and I’m just reading some of the comments on here about coinbase. Guessing the group recommends using another service?
