Why send to gdax?

Never buy on coinbase man, the fees are ridiculous. Sign up for Coinbase and use the same login for their sister company GDAX. Purchases have no fees if you set a limit. 0.25% if you are a taker.
ETA: Note that on GDAX you do have to send money to your account to purchase. So rather than buying on coinbase at X price and waiting 5 days to get it, you transfer funds to your GDAX account, wait a few days, then purchase.

No fees between Coinbase and GDax, then fees from Gdax to other exchanges are less

I’m on GDAX. Please walk me through how to get to ECA. Deposit $200 from bank to gdax, then buy what, ETH, then send ETH to Binance, then send to coinsmarket for ECA?

Only reason I'm not using GDax right away is because it makes you wait, if you are ok with that then go that route.
Once on GDax, go to balances on coinsmarkets, find LTC/ETH/BTC and get the address, go to GDax and click withdraw, paste address..... takes like an hour for it to go through. Then once it does you just buy ECA, but set up a wallet first.

Does it make sense to day trade these alts on binance? I have been holding but it seems like I could make more by selling high and rebuying low. I know that’s a risk but these things go up and down so often it seems like a better play. I could have bought and sold ripple multiple times when it runs and made a good bit. Anyone else do it this way?

If you get a feel on the normal waves in pricing for them maybe. I’ve started doing this with ripple. It’ll drop to 1.80ish, I’ll buy them sell at 2.15 but I don’t know how to predict a real pump you envy when you see

Sold at $850 and am going to buy back when it dips.
Don’t plan on waiting for some full on correction, just a play to get a little more ETH.
