What is the most trustworthy exchange?

I trade mostly on Bittrex and never had a problem. I have also traded heavily on Gemini without issue. Coinbase is also very secure. The downside to Gemini and Coinbase is that they are VERY limited in the coins you can trade.

Does the fact that these currencies started with tech savvy people make it a more appealing target for hackers than a regular brokerage account?

Hackers are also a threat. FDIC only insures your USD on the exchanges, not digital currency. You may want to consider a "hard" wallet to hold your coins if you are concerned about hackers. I have 2 BTC sitting on a nano ledger that I do not plan on placing on an exchange any time soon.

Seeing that the explosion happened over the last couple of weeks, is it fair to think that NEO, ETH and BTC will all return to their mid July prices?

your guess is as good as mine

Thanks. Hard wallet? I've got much to learn. Which currencies can one buy on Bittrex? On their webpage they only list eight.

No problem. Ask all the questions you want. Someone will answer them.

We need to start a things I wish I knew when I started in cryptos thread, and then everyone post their lessons learned and links to how It's.

Starting out I would say resist the urge to chase every pump coin, and stick to BTC, NEO, WTH, OMG, and understand they will go up 20% or more one day and down that much the next so don't panic sell the first time you are down 5%.

Until you've survived 60% down and hung on till you're ahead, you're a crypto n00b.

Today sucked. Watching yourself go down $2500 in two days makes your stomach drop. But I had faith in the hodl. Back up we go in Neo.

In your experienced opinion, is it too late to put some more on NEO? I just added some more ETH in coinbase and transferring over to Bittrex.

Want to get some NEO if people think it'll get to $70 by the end of the week.

ETA: nvm did it

One thing that is certain. No one knows what any of these coins will do.

It's not about what it'll be at the end of the week. If you understand and believe in what you're investing in then it's never too late to get in

true, but the safest, strongest plays lie with strong development teams

BTC, ETH, OMG, NEO, IOTA

PAY and ARK look promising as well

Man this is interesting. Can't wait to do some more research on these.

I think I'm going to use my football betting bankroll for this instead.

Did anyone check out the CTR ICO? Looks like an TenX competitor with about 100 million coins issued at about 60 cents a coin if you get in before the end of August.

They have sold about 20million coins in the first 10 days of the ICO. I watched a video of one of the founders shopping in a mall with it.

If NEO keeps running up I may throw a few eth at it before the coins in the ico get bought up.
