I have been following this thread for a while and have finally went live into trading these last week. This thread has tremendously helped my understanding of how these coins move.

currently in NEO and looking to add more, although it takes too long for gemini to approve my deposits. any suggestions on something that is faster and equally secure? this high $40's level seems to be a good entry point if it doesnt shite the bed.

Every site is going to take a few days for bank transfers. You can go to your bank and wire it if you want.

After verification, I think gemini will front you $500 a day on your bank transfers and credit your account with the money right away.

Just got a 'Markets frozen : unexpected db outage' message on Bittrex.

Anyone seeing anything similar?

Same thing here for Bittrex...
Markets Frozen
Routine database upgrade consuming more resources than expected, halting markets as a precaution. All wallets remain online. Apologies for the trading interruption.

Depending on this markets frozen timeframe, you might get it when the markets come back

I'm keeping a close eye on it. I think I am going to leave all of my BTC in tact and bring in 2,000 from the sidelines to buy neo. I like where BTC is heading.

ETA: said screw it and bought 42 neo

Have some friends trying to get in on NEO but are sidelined with verifications/transfer times etc. They asked if I could buy some but wouldn't I take on the tax burden for the purchase and theoretical capital gains?

yes. dont do it

My portfolio will likely consist of ETH, NEO, OMG, PAY, FUN, MTL, and DNT once bittrex is back up and running. Want to sell some Neo in the mid 50s if possible. We may see a surge though, so idk

ETA also keep an eye on SNGLS at $0.15.

I have BTC and NEO for now. Want to see what happens with NEO before I start diversifying again. I am not as annoyed as I was yesterday because BTC has been climbing steadily

I just set up IOTA Light Wallet today but haven't tried to move IOT to it. Hopeful but guarded on transition from Bifinex.

My BTC are long holds. I put them on a ledger and am forgetting about them. I used my ETH gains to buy almost all of them.
