Making $5k in a month or even $30k in a month does not equal averaging $5k or $30k a month. Not to mention you do not mention the principal you are leveraging to make said profits.

Simple: We don't buy into any stock more than 5 dollars. We research the company as to WHY it fell and make a decision on it. Assuming the risk we buy x amount. Sell at the peak of the rally and gain usually 2-5x depending on the stock price, or we have a small loss if we guessed wrong.
We have about an 80% success ratio going right now. He has way more capital to throw at it than I currently, but I am building a significant amount to start moving into his range.

exactly. Heck, I'll pay the guy a % of my gains if he's gonna post plays that earn 2-5x with an 80% success rate...

I've been following Ryan Lye's advice and I'm only 10% in ETH now. Mostly in LTC, ETC and XEM for my long term investments

As the wave of ICO's roll out over the next year, I expect many fast spikes up and down as people stock up on ETH to buy into the ICO.
Then as they roll out of their ETH, prices will shoot down. If you're a good timer, you could do alright just on the ETH in and out.

XBIT was was the most recent play we had.
Bought in at 3.25 @ 12k and sold at 5.20
Made 7k. This was my best one dale transaction this year. He put in 30k.
I'm not here to convince you how I invest. I am just telling you what we do. We've been mildly successful doing it. If you want to laugh it off then that's on you.
Edit: Was roughly 62% gain. I haven't had a gain of 100% yet personally. He has. Offsetting losses my current account is at 40% for this year. I started this with him two years ago to clear up some debt.

Typically I have to risk right around 10-12k to make 5k. I am rolling over these into new investments to avoid paying short term cap gains.
I said 5k a month because my account is up 30 grand so far this year.
Edit: 30k up after factoring in some losses (4750).
