I'm not sure. I think a status developer mentioned it because of eth's volatility

Kind of looks like the blood bath has slowed.

Guys, I am feeling pretty shitty right now.

I could have doubled my investment by selling at 400, but I held.

I held until it hit about 212, then I panicked because I thought I was about to lose money. I sold.

I guess it's not that big of a deal because I didn't technically lose money, and im not too far off of where I would be if I hadn't sold.

I am new to this, and I'm generally not a very risky person. Now i feel like i kind of blew it. Ugh.

What is my next move.

It happens to the best of us. Don't beat yourself up but always remember to take some profits.

Set some really low buy limits (Bloodbath may not be over). Take a week off, have your life back (instead of staring at ETH all day). Come back in a week and reassess the situation.

Drink some beer that you accidentally posted on here yesterday. Yes, I seen it

Wow you quick! I'm usually between here and the beer threads.

Thanks for the good advice

Finally got Tier 3 on Kraken and go to do a deposit and it says service unavailable, come back later...

Should I just wait this out a little longer? I see $234 and it looks great compared to when I saw $400 sitting on the sidelines. Still sucks compared to the $125 I should be in at. Anyway, I'm looking at starting with $5-10k right away so hold or buy? Should I look into buying others?

WAIT. The crypto market is going to keep falling until BTC reaches 1600-2000.

I don't recommend jumping in until it bottoms. If you do just set a real conservative stop limit. When things looked stable last night I did. Woke up and my coins had sold while I slept barely lost any money. Lesson learned however, this thing is tanking for a while.

I believe this, so I have changed my strategy. I am now sitting in cash most of the time and jumping in when the 5 minute chart looks like it is turning up, immediately setting a sell limit order for 1% higher and then I'm back out. This things moves around enough that I am still making a few % per day as it is tanking.

When do you think we hit bottom ?

For those wondering, this is exactly what a bubble bursting looks like...

Two months ago we were @ $50 for ETH. Two weeks ago we broke $400. Today we're at $225.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it tests the $100-$150 range again. The 90-day weighted moving average is roughly $210, so if it falls through that support, you're looking at $150 as the 90-day simple moving average.

Should be nice for long-term buyers, but the day trading is wearing off quite a bit. The regular Joe investors who were tuning in to help run it up to $400 aren't so keen to come back in when it is down 45% from the high in less than two weeks.

Do you have short term gains you can offset?

So I transferred 4 ETH to buy Antshares and LBC last week and ANS and ETH finally got back to the ratio where it was at last week so I sold ANS to buy back the ETH shares I risked and now ANS keeps rising. So pissed.

I don't think it's going to drop that far but we'll see.

For the sake of those in this thread, I hope not.

Just pointing out there are some levels it essentially skipped through the last 2 months, and you often see things go back and fill those gaps.

ETH traded between $95 and $150 for a grand total of 4 days. It initially looked like a breakaway gap, and still could have been.

Yeah day to day traders should panic.

People looking to long term hold should not.
