The way i understand it is LTC is designed to take the strain away from BTC and be used for the small transactions to allow btc to focus on large ones
As a result strong BTC = strong LTC
I could be wildly off base though. I initially bought in on LTC but the switched it all over to ETH

Buying Ethereum/CryptoTalk by The Boat LTC sucks cock. I wouldn't invest anything in it.

ETC is proving again why you should hedge ETH with ETC. IDK if its bump today is emerald announcement anticipation or simply a delayed rise with ETH but it could see more incline if the emerald announcement satisfies.

What influences the rise and fall of these values? And can I buy other cryptocurrency like Dash and Eth Classic on Coinbase?
Litecoin has gone up bigly. 47% in a day

ETH has some work to do if it's going to hit the 400 I predicted for Sunday

CNBC articles, other news, mostly speculation

No. I would recommend using gdax over Coinbase for BTC and ETH. If you want to trade alt coins, Poloniex is good.

Looking at multiple markets gave me a realization that arbitrage maybe the way to do things. Is transfer speed between accounts pretty quick or how long does it take from gdax to poloneix or coinbase or bitfinex to move money around?

GDAX to poloniex has taken between 5 and 20 minutes for me

I thought about doing it, but I would bet the transfer times are gonna end up fricking me and costing me more money than it's worth

would imagine unless you're dealing with tens of thousands of dollars, it wouldn't be worth it. Even then what are you going to make, a few hundred a day? If that
At $100 per day(thats 500 transactions at .20 profit very conservative)
36,500 extra bucks a year seems like a decent deal.

Although if transfer speefs suck thats a whole different problem as the corrections maybe quicker than the transfer it sounds like.

That's basically sitting at your computer all day doing it as a full time job.
All the markets have APIs. This woukd be a bot who checks each price market once a second.
Then would either transfer in or use current balance to buy and sell.
Sounds like the real problem is transfer speed. I was afraid it would be the issue.

Agree with the transfer speed.
Is the interest in all of this slowing down?

What is everyone's thoughts on iota so far? The tangle concept is certainly intriguing, but do you any of you foresee as something that could surpass the alt coins in terms of investment. Good buy and hold? Buy and sell for a little profit? Do not buy?
