Click on ETH/USD product in top left. Click deposit below that. Click on coinbase tab. It should then show your balance on coinbase in eth wallet. Just type in what you want you transfer and submit. Should be instant.

Been on this the past three weeks but have still yet to figure out what the difference between GDAX and Coinbase is. Can I deposit and withdraw USD from GDAX? Is it better to just go through GDAX instead of Coinbase?

Figured it was just get into Coinbase or Gemini and then trade on polo or bittrex

You can't deposit directly from your bank or credit card into GDAX. You have to go thru coinbase first. Think of coinbase as a bank. GDAX is an exchange where you can actively buy and sell those coins. You have to transfer your coins from the bank to the exchange so you can do that. GDAX, bitfin, polo, Gemini are all exchanges. They all have pros and cons but essentially allow you to do the same thing, trade your coins at the current market price. As well as a variety of other coins. GDAX is just owned by coinbase so it's fairly easy to take your coins from coinbase to there. But you could transfer them to any exchange of your choosing.

Yes you can deposit and withdraw USD on gdax. The difference is coinbase is made to lower the barrier of entry. Gdax is a little more advanced and heard towards trading. Gdax has many more coins and tokens. Coinbase only has the three at the moment.

Gdax is basically polo with a better UI.

Fees on GDAX are a little harder to predict but always much lower than Coinbase. Out of 6 GDAX transactions, 4 were zero fee.

Transfer from Coinbase to GDAX was instant and I love being able to set limit and stop orders.

The fees for limit orders are always zero. It's when you buy or sell at market price they charge a fee.

Incorrect. I transferred money straight from my bank account to GDAX. Took a few days to arrive but did not go through Coinbase (well GDAX is Coinbase but did not have to move USD from one wallet to another)

I see the errors of my ways now. I've always just deposited from coinbase. Learn something new every day.

Which is the fastest route. I want to get into this but from reading it seems coinbase is the slowest route?

Don't expect to have any better access to gdax than coinbase when in panic mode.

Those who bought really early before $5 and had the fortitude to hodl through this roller coaster probably deserves to be the average joe millionaires.
