It's gone pretty nuts along with hyperliquid. I didn't get in on either, but enjoying watching them.

I’m honestly all in on MegPrime $MPP for my crypto holdings. They just rolled out their bill pay portion of the platform this week. It is the most unique Crypto long term play I have seen with corporate backers.

Im in big today. We riding!

Got another big slug that I’ll either stagger in or push in when the momentum feels like it’s definitely flipped.

I've been one of the biggest proponents of cold storage but after this exploit, I'm back on the "Coinbase MFA + Vault or ETF" train. Coldcard was the gold standard in security. AI is exposing never before seen bugs in everything and I think cold storage platforms are going to be a big target as AI gets more sophisticated.

My thought on why Coinbase - because if Coinbase gets hit, then its all over anyway. May as well make tracking and utilizing easy IMO.

Coming from someone with a Coldcard who just made the single biggest 1 click transfer over the bitcoin network in my life. Boy that 10 minutes my butthole was puckered

Big transfers take years off your life, even after you know the test transfer worked.

Think im gonna be spreading the love between coinbase, fidelity, venmo, cash app, and PayPal. These platforms seem secure based on longevity

Coinbase has a crime policy including cyber crime. I believe employee dishonesty also.

A regulated US derivatives exchange probably has counter party risk guaranteed by the exchange. Depending n exchange of course. A fairly big deal for those who have large gains hedged with protective puts.

Unregulated Exchange? Illegal and good luck.

Regulated Derivatives Exchange - Do some research.

Exchange Holding Physical BTC For Beneficial Ownership - Do some research and better ask about their crime insurance policy and bonding.

Cold Storage - Obvious Weak Spot Was Just Exposed.

What else am I missing?

They said they were. It’s important to distinguish between the two. Their code was trash and they never audited their core product.

This wasn’t some super complicated hack. It was taking something in plain sight for any bad actor that was looking.

Don’t get me wrong. This is catastrophic. But it’s important that the post mortem evaluation is honest so that next steps are based on sound reasoning.
