So I read opinions prior to breaking 100k, that once it hit 103k it would stick and not go back. It broke 100k, and hit 103k all over night. Thoughts on it still be the case that now it's mostly here to stay or will there be a draw back?
I was thinking that in DEC it would break 100k but teeter low and still back in the high 90s. I guess I'm trying to understand how people will handle getting out for tax purposes. Especially how institutions will handle it.
I understand it's volatile, but I'm trying to catch up on trends, especially end of year, you experienced folks have seen over the years. I'm also trying to understand this from a traders perspective, not so much a hold long term perspective.

Are you a trader or investor? If investor, just DCA and forget about the noise. 90k. 100k. 110k. It doesn't matter. Only larger trends matter. Short term is noise. If you're wanting to trade, good luck. Crypto eats small traders for breakfast.

I was in a VERY frustrating place in my career.
That was pretty much my motivation to buy a lot of Bitcoin and shite ton of GBTC back in 2016 and 2017. I wanted to roll the dice to get out of my hell hole of a career.

My questions are more from a traders perspective. I may do stuff in my IRA, but I know that's a do it and forget it. That's easier to understand.
Now from the side-fun trader perspective, I get it will chew me up and spit me out if I'm not careful. Why I'm asking what I am.
Trying to better understand to limit how much I get eaten up. At this moment I'm just dabbling with money I can live without while I learn the best process/approach for me. I'm OPS/process minded so building that is what keeps me intrigued.

Of all the guys I follow, this guy has been the most right. He has a low follower count and he's a bulldog fan, but he's good people. LINK. He used to be real active on r/ethfinance, but he's more active on twitter these days. He calls it like it is with zero emotion, outside of memecoin he pumps from time to time.

I really wanted Bitcoin to hit $110K before pulling back any, but I am ready to initiate another volatility trade with BITX if Bitcoin stays below $98K tomorrow morning at market open.
