He isn’t saying BTC is done. But the 3 cycle trend line is at 108k. ETH is primed to run. He is assuming money made on BTC will flow into ETH because the short term gains are higher than BTC.
In other terms, he expects BTC to cool off and ETH out pace it and pull alts along with it. During this BTC is going to climb to 200k or so but ETH still hasn’t pushed to new ATH yet.

I know what he’s saying. I’m saying the rise to 200k to me is more likely than the 100k crash that’s expected. They will probably both happen, but the eventual rise is more assured in my mind and therefore an attempt at short-selling is not worth the risk

I think leverage is what will push it down. People looking to leverage short the rejection at 100k or the 3 cycle trend line. Once it’s starts moving down, spot sellers will take profits as well.
There isn’t that much supply of BTC on exchanges. Whales are probably holding. That’s why I think leverage is what is driving things in the short term

Any “crash” into the 80s would be scooped up with the quickness. Eventually 100k will be the new floor and badge of honor going forward that you acquired btc under 100k.
