You can buy Bitcoin directly in Fidelity. Talk to Fidelity about that or look up Fidelity Crypto in your Fidelity website. However note that Fidelity currently only allows buying and selling Bitcoin within Fidelity and you can't move Bitcoin in and out of Fidelity accounts like you can with Coinbsse or your own hard wallet.

Thanks for the info. Took me a little bit this morning to find what it shows up as for my watch list "BTC/USD." Assuming that is what I will be able to buy it under. I'll try to find some time to get an update on moving them. I'm a straight up newbie at all of this, so I'm trying to teach myself trading in general, so I just finally set up Active Trader Pro (ATP) this month. Done a couple of trades to get my feet wet, so still trying to get better at pulling the trigger. So yeah I'm more in teaching myself day/swing trading to keep myself busy with something. Thanks for the guidance.

I've been watching MSTR all day, and didn't pulling the trigger at a really good low for today ~$335. Mix of getting a phone call around that moment, and me getting trigger shy has me kicking myself. But I'm learning so I'll take what I can out of it. Adding - I added this about MSTR as I'm looking at it as they have billions in BTC, so thinking they are a way to ride BTC. So what got me looking into how best to watch BTC, and see what other stocks move with it up or down. Wasn't trying to derail the thread.

The market is getting dragged and we’re barely budging after yesterday’s insane run. This thing is going full send very soon.

I found this interesting on Fidelity when looking around for BTC info. Not sure what you more experience think about it.

Buckle Up' For The Bull Market's 'Most Fun Phase,' Says Industry Expert: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin About To Enter The 'Euphoria' Stage
BENZINGA

Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz sees the cryptocurrency market moving into the most thrilling phase of a four-stage bull market.

What Happened: Yanowitz outlined the typical bull market phases in a thread on X:

Stage 1: Rebirth (Jan 2023-Jan 2024)
Stage 2: Excitement (Feb 2024 through last week)
Stage 3: Euphoria (currently)
Stage 4: Disconnection (still to come)

The founder noted that the “Excitement” phase could see some coins near all-time highs, without new players coming or existing players leaving.

With the Euphoria phase officially having started on Nov. 5 following the presidential election, Yanowitz sees a “beautiful time” coming, where gains abound but the "grifters" haven't yet appeared. He advised enjoying this period, as it tends to be fleeting.

Yanowitz predicts that during this stage, institutional allocators will start making significant moves into Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH, and venture capitalists will begin launching new funds sooner than anticipated.

Why It Matters: Yanowitz's perspective offers a roadmap for crypto investors to navigate the volatility of bull markets. He cautions that Euphoria phase, a double edged sword, can bring about FOMO-driven narratives and coins, which may create both opportunity and risk if not approached with care.

Yanowitz foresees the final phase, “Disconnection,” as a period marked by irrationality and recklessness, cautioning that complacency could be costly. For those who stay disciplined, however, he believes 2025 could yield transformational gains

Funny. I'm sure it does.

I see it went up to ~89,700 and coming back down. Is that just some random volatility, so me kind of news or just not ready to break 90k yet? I'm sure thats a stupid question, but just haven't followed what causes movements.

In 2017 I had 1.8 Bitcoin. I got out and planned to get back in.

I never got back in.

Today I am sad.

I missed it, and see that Bitcoin has pulled back some to 88K+.

Hopefully Bitcoin is pulling back like a slingshot and we continue to see your price increase update posts on a regular basis.
