We're just in the doldrums as far as price action is concerned.

funny to see how sentiment changes on a dime when you know altcoins are fundamentally worthless.
Bitcoin is the only thing of actual value. I think more people are understanding this. It’s fine to trade the shitcoins but look at literally any alt vs bitcoin. They all trend to zero.

Fundamentally Bitcoin has no value. Ethereum is a web 3 app store. Thousands of tokens can store value like Bitcoin.

Has anyone ever heard of a crypto broker? for the record my post below has NOTHING to do with me personally.
A girl on my facebook posted some pics yesterday of a bunch of land she bought and said it was made possible by crypto. Seemed sorta out of character but hey no biggie, congrats to her. Well today she makes another post, here is the text of the body:
"Congratulations to myself a verified, recognized broker and A Certified Crypto Trader ??
I am honored to have been a part of this ship, getting here wasn't that easy but l'm not a quitter. I always work hard so l can achieve my goals. I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I am now a verified and a recognized broker! The path to becoming a verified broker has been a journey fueled by my passion and unwavering dedication.
I am also proud to be affiliated with a few outstanding company that is revolutionizing the industry. This affiliation enhances my capabilities and ensures that I can offer you the most innovative solutions and exceptional experiences possible. Reach out to me today, check my ID to verify my credentials, and discover the advantages of working with a verified broker who is committed to your success."
It then included a couple pictures, one with a Coinbase Visa debit card of some sort with her name on it and a few others of a 4-monitor screen setup with charts on them.
This feels scammy and pyramid scheme-y as all hell. What does a crypto "broker" even do? Is it like your old school traditional brokers where an uninformed person would tell their stock broker "here's $100, find me a good stock and see it make some returns"? I've never heard of a crypto broker and the whole thing just looks strange, but I admittedly don't know enough to know if it's a scheme or not.

She got hacked. That's a scam.

The terrible grammar says it's either a scam or she isn't smart enough to be trusted with my money.

Yes.
There’s varying degrees of shitcoin. And sure, it’s the cream of the crop. But the crop is still shite.

Yeah. But only Bitcoin did it first and organically built a network over time.
Anyone can do anything. But it doesn’t mean it will be successful or adopted.

Sweet log chart. It worse than that appears.

2616% gain on bitcoin since 2016...How's that for another?
The chart doesn't lie, nor does the % gain on BTC.

Chatter about a bear flag calling for a drop to 45k.
Idk about that, but I will say 57k needs to hold. A close below 56-57k makes another leg down more likely.

I just continue to trade Bitcoin volatility no matter what the news. For this latest pullback, just this morning I sold a good amount of BITO and used those funds to buy BITX. As soon as Bitcoin gets above $58.5K on today's trade (whether tomorrow or weeks from now), I'll reverse the trade and end up with more BITO shares than when I started the trade.
I've been doing this for months through good news and bad news, during extended pullbacks, sideways trends, upwards trends and quick price swings. I've only closed out a couple of trades at a loss so far. Many more wins, some same day reversals and some extended delayed wins.
I'm always looking for Bitcoin volatility to cause a pullback and then recover. Extended downtrends means I just open up more trades simultaneously. Quick pullbacks and recoveries are the best. A long recovery used to require ice in my veins but now I am just a robot. Whether Bitcoin continues downward or recovers, I stick to my plan.
Bitcoin volatility has been outstanding this year for me personally as there have been a frequent amount of nice amplitude price swings. I agree what I do is very risky and not for the feint of heart. I just wonder if there is anyone else out there that is crazy and trades like I do or something similar, like trading BITX and IBIT, or NVDA and NVDL, or trading options. I would like to hear if there are others who are pro Bitcoin and not just holding, even if they just buy on dips and pullbacks to keep accumulating.

You forgot to mention BITO’s nice dividend

I've been playing around with your method with BITX and BITO. I've been very conservative but have slowly been adding to my BITO shares without any out of pocket costs. Thanks for the strategy, as it has been working.

You're welcome. That's awesome to hear this strategy at least is working from someone else. I'm in the red on my most recent open trades but not worrying at all. That's a good strategy of yours starting out with small trades. Just get the hang of it and see if it's right for you. It's actually good to open a trade and then Bitcoin starts pulling back just to see if you can handle that. Some people can't stomach a pretty good loss at 2X speed for a week or more waiting on Bitcoin to recover.
Also as I open more trades, I never have more than 25% of my BITO stack sold total. I'll just suspend any new trades in that case.
I start trades at approx 5% of my BITO stack (depending on far the pullback is before I can open a trade). Then if Bitcoin keeps falling I open more trades, each with their own recovery trigger point price to reverse the trade. The last trade gets reversed 1st as it has a lower trigger point price. On the other hand if I only have one open trade and Bitcoin recovers above the trigger price, that's great. I want Bitcoin to keep going sky high. But on the way up, I'm on the lookout for any dip or pullback.
I'm pretty busy so it's easy to miss some trades whether making new trades or closing open trades. I just open or close trades when I am available to open Fidelity and Bitcoin's price dictates I need to trade. It all usually works out, although I might miss a quick pullback and recovery or I don't buy at the bottom or sell at the top. On the other hand, Bitcoin may rise above a reversal trigger point price and by the time I. can actually reverse the trade, Bitcoin has continued to rise and I end up with even more BITO shares.
It will be really nice to see Bitcoin start a parabolic rise in this cycle, hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, I just try to keep profiting on volatility.

Does BITO really pay a dividend if the price drop equals the payout?
