Largely agree; people follow the money, and the alternate L1s incentives and frustration around ETH's gas fees has really helped fuel this rotatoooooooor season. ETH and BTC need new adoption to continue growing in price, or in ETH's case it needs to scale and get L2 adoption and blow out the alternate L1s (may not happen anyway)

I’m thinking of pulling 30-40k from a brokerage account and putting it all in crypto.
If so, what would y’all put it in? Tired of my shite gains/losses in my stocks.

You could get 20% just getting UST and depositing on Terra station/anchor. That's about as stable and safe that I am aware of. Everything else is kinda speculative

So do you think these L1s are long term holds, or rotation into a new meta will move money out of them? There's only so much time to keep up with all this and research, and I'm struggling. I was really hoping these would be good set it and forget its.

I think Solunavax will stay strong but if you're a profit maxi you'll probably be able to make more $ elsewhere

a lot of competition though so I'm not confident in any winners yet. rose and atom seem to be catching narrative momentum but yea this can change quickly

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I just don't have time to be a profit maxi (other than dabbling in the ohm forks, imx, and a couple LPs). Hell I even missed the boat on the msol sol pool now that the rate is so low...
But with the limited research I've done, I really like algo and tezos. Just don't know about the others yet.
