If you were a developer and you knew you could create the same coin on basically the same chain that is much faster and cheaper would you do it?

Who said that it hasn’t. Has it been done on the Ethereum chain to this degree?

Trying to be smart when you’re the dumbest mother fricker in the room is not a trait rocket.

BTC Futures ETF is almost 100% a thing now.

I gotta be honest, I think it’s a garbage product but it does legitimize BTC. When we get a spot ETF prepare to leave the solar system

It’s a fork of Ethereum, run on the same code. It’s basically Eth 2.0 that has been promised for years. It’s much faster and cheaper than Ethereum is now. Would you consider Ethereum secure from hackers?

So it's BSC with better integration into Ethereum? BSC is a forked Ethereum chain... Except they actually have documentation on what they do to achieve the low gas and quicker transactions. BSC also doesn't beat Polygon in gas fees or transaction speed, either (which, btw, Polygon gives up almost all decentralization to achieve).

Pulse website doesn't mention anything about block sizes, how many validators they plan to have, how they will scale, governance, anything. What do they expect gas to look like? They are only paying a portion of transaction fees to validators.. that's generally not a lot of APY for staking, especially not a coin that isn't a blue chip. That generally won't lead to great security.

What are they sacrificing up to achieve higher TPS and lower fees? Security? Decentralization? BSC gives up a frick ton of security and decentralization to get the low fees it has. I see Pulse wants to increase block times 4x.. that will require beefier hardware on a validator node.

I'm dogpiling a bit in this post, but if you think Pulse is the next big thing for the long term, then most of these questions should be easily answerable. Instead, they give none of that. You just have to assume it's the same thing as Ethereum because they say it is. But it's not, because they've already changed block time parameters. What else changed?

If you just treat it like a roulette table bet, then by all means have fun. You'll probably make money.

Dude, these Hex/Pulse guys can't answer your concerns without personally attacking you.

I am fricking amazed people "sacrificed" real coins to a ETH wallet to get some unknown return for some chain that has, as you said, released zero documentation on how it all works.

They are 100% just letting Richard control their investments.

Hex might be the most centralized project on the planet and I dont see how Pulse will be any different.

Your point about paying validators is a key one. I dont see how anyone stands to make high yield on that platform, if it even comes out.

This kind of thing only works in a bull market. The space is flooded with new users who don't really understand the technology, and just want to see number go up

You are sacrificing to prove how strong you believe that blockchains are speech and speech is a protected human right. This is an important political statement. You must have no expectation of profit from the work of others. The set of people who have sacrificed to show their commitment to this political statement makes a great set of people to airdrop free things to. This sacrifice points are not meant to have any monetary value. Remember, you're not buying anything, the world is just noticing you are amongst a group of people that sacrificed to make a political statement. Some countries tax their citizens when they receive things of value. PulseChain and all the coins on it are designed to start with no value, which is ideal. Consult your own legal and financial professionals, as nothing written here should be considered professional advice. The only thing we know of set to be airdropped for free to this political group so far is PulseChain (PLS.) If we hear about other cool things, we'll let you know.
