yeah you'll probably need to contact support with the link to solscan transactions and they'll make you prove the address you sent it from is yours.

it might just be stuck as well

interestingly I just got my 5 sol back this morning at 4am that was incorrectly deposited into the main sol cb pro account so they do work with you, it took about a month

Did you manually compare the addresses before sending them to make make sure they were the same? There is an outside possibility that you could have a malware that hijacks your clipboard. Hopefully that's not the case.

I sure didn't. Guess that is a possibility. Just sent CB an email so we'll se where it goes.

That thought is fricking terrifying as someone who ctrl c ctrl v's addresses with abandon and only checks the first few and last few characters then let's it fly.

Even checking the last few letters of an address is usually enough to prevent one of those clipboard malware hijacks.

Yeah, the odds of the few numbers at the front and back of your address being the same as a clipboard hijacker address are astronomically low. Never hurts to double check everything when doing a large transfer, though.

some dude posted on twitter yesterday that he had $375k worth of NFTs jacked from him. had his seed phrase stored in the cloud and thinks potentially some bad character from dropbox exploited the system and accessed his txt file,

Damn. Haha.

I can see having some money/info stored online but anything over 100k is going in a cold device.

the issue with NFTs is that you cant store them on coinbase but i prefer to store all my assets there tbh unpopular opinion i know but i think decentralized storage options are way overrated

i trust coinbase 2 factor authentication and security audits more than i trust myself

for now i do store my high-value NFTs on a ledger

It's a frowned upon practice but I keep my seed phrases in a cloud-based password service that also lets me store secure notes, and locked behind passwords.

I am too prone to losing things irl, don't have a cold storage yet, and have to input my seed phrases to multiple PCs and a phone... and the Android Metamask app tends to geek out and force me to forget my wallet and re-add it. Just much easier all around to store it in the cloud.

To me it sounds like they are saying it may still be pending? I mean it says successful on the ledger.

Yeah I sent .5 SOL to CBP yesterday before I tried this one and it went through immediately... that's what's so weird

I had mine stored to google docs. Probably a bad idea.

Yea. I’m not really keeping or buying those yet. Didn’t think about that.
