I get flack here for love of alts/junk but VTHO & VET are making a run and still pretty cheap. They normally double for a bit when this happens.
Not giving advice but I am in 15K + in them both so it's been a fun afternoon.
I have looked at this from a psychological standpoint vs technical ...people jump in at the cheap end so I always buy the cheapest junk on each exchange and have won more than I lost. Cheap alts bump when Biden bucks flow also.
Edited to add junk arse DACC on KuCoin is popping also..all 24,000,000 of mine haha

Ross,
100% agree and I've downloaded a pretty nice free app to set +/- alerts and they blow my phone up.
Pretty easy pump & dump routine for the junk.

Yes if you have to jump off right before the fork date...but I'm holding to stake in sundaeswap pool. Think about the future equivalent of pancakeswap on Ada for free!

what in the sundaeswap . and it's free?
when is the ETA on release?

It’s gonna be of those days.

pretty much. there will be ADA staking pools shortly after mainnet which will give sundaeswap tokens for staking, they will also still give ADA stake. Sundaeswap seems legit from everything found

interested to see how it compares to pancake. i might join the ada krewe

Any of you crypto baws in BITF calls? Would options on miners be a good way to play BTC price action with leverage much like an E&P is to WTI? Or is there more than "commodity" price risk here?

Sell puts on HUT 8. Some inefficiencies in the pricing. Or there was when I did this.

well its got a long way to go to get to pancake. there are around 7 dexs competing to be the thing on ADA, im betting on sundaeswap.

Buddy of mine got into BITF calls and is up substantially right now. I don't know about at current value, but the miners are a good way to play the market without buying actual bitcoin. You will see bigger swings though so as crazy as it sounds, BTC is actually less volatile than the miners.

Thanks, IG. I added HUT to my watchlist I'll check it out tonight.
So this is what I wanted to know. That is nuts but also awesome for options trading
I saw this DCF of BITF from a guy I trade with that's really into BTC and it got me intrigued to look into it. I'm not sure about the other assumptions but using a $45k average price seems to be extremely conservative especially when looking at the chart in recent days.

Worst trade I’ve done so far was buying HIVE at market value during a bit of FOMO. Cost basis is still like 4 dollars a share and it sent it to I want to say five before crashing down with everything else a few months back
I am happy a poster mentioned BITQ, it’s a more suitable ETF in terms of diversifying across the crypto space for my Roth. One day HIVE will help me out too and get back above four dollars

VET has contracts with McDonalds, Walmart, and I believe BMW, plus others. They also met last month with several factions of the Chinese government about using the Vechain for inventory purposes.
I have aboot 700,000 VTHO, and my wife has some, and VET.
I also daytrade the dips on RAV/USD. It is like taking out 5-6 small shovelfulls of cash, per day.

it's good play but buying miners is far riskier than buying actual Bitcoin
what if it's no longer profitable to mine. what if they need to upgrade and replace equipment to keep pace with the rest of market. what if they go out of business if bitcoin crashes? what if canada bans mining? you'd have nothing then but you'd still own a bitcoin if that's what you bought. plus two years is an optimistic time for any miner because of hardware costs. so many things can go wrong
