It might pop down 10% again. It seems like a decent buy spot, unless it does it quickly. We will have to see how BTC is manipulated, and what role FOMO plays. I am hoping the left coast is emotional, upon waking.

I also am wondering, if once implemented, what acceptance? I guess any publicity is good publicity.

I think the FOMO will be real today and help for a 40K push. ETH 2.4~2.5k along those lines as well.

the Bitcoin payments thing was always a meme but I'm guessing Elon adds it back soon

Maybe someone can explain this one to me. Let's pretend I want to buy a Tesla with bitcoin, how does that work from a tax perspective? Say I bought a bitcoin for $10,000 a while back, but now it's worth $50,000. Then assume a new Tesla costs $50,000. Do I owe the capital gains tax on the $40,000 when I buy a Tesla with it?

You'd have to pay taxes on the $40,000 gain.
Paying in Bitcoin right now is really dumb

Yes, you would pay long term cap gains on the difference between $50,000 and $10,000.

Watching AMP. I have been curious to see where it can go, but tempted to sell if it reaches $0.095.
