Elon probably lost half his fan base with this stunt. Whole thing seems so odd though, like maybe he was forced into this by the SEC or something
Or maybe all of Elon’s bitcoin pumping was a money making scam. He may have just pulled a classic “pump n dump”.
Just a thought

he didn't sell it though (allegedly)
so it was too bad to use for purchases but it's good enough to hold over a billion dollars worth. this is his logic

Just doesn't seem that it would be necessary for him to do this.
How much would that move the needle on his net worth?

People like Elon don’t think like you and me.

Here are some tips for you guys
1. The market is fragile
2. The market is irrational
3. It’s not necessarily that Elon’s tweets are valid reasons for the market to crash, but when the market is looking for a reason to crash, it will serve the purpose.
4. Crypto is volatile. If it doesn’t go up, it’s going to go down. BTC didn’t go up.

Of course not. I just don't see him trying to manipulate Bitcoin so he can pump and dump behind the scenes.
Could be that no one is actually using BTC to buy Teslas because they look at it more as an investment vehicle rather than a currency. If you believed it was going to increase in value would you buy a 60k car with it? Of course not

quote:He does shite like this when he has actual bad news to announce at one of his other quasi-fraudulent ventures. I can't wait to see what this one is. Or perhaps I have it entirely wrong and he is going to announce the full deployment of the robo-taxi fleet he promised several years back.
Somethings afoot
Idk what

3 weeks ago he was agreeing with Jack about some BS energy article and then he flips the opposite direction.

I really do not understand why iota didnt pump
seems like nano got all the "clean energy" money

IOTA is a special case that doesn't move with the market much. It's time will come though. Elon's tweet is actually extremely good news for IOTA in my opinion.

IDK what either, but I agree.

Could really be as simple as profit/loss GAAP principles not letting a Tesla bought with BTC to be reported as revenue/profit.

Elon was getting back at Vitalik for dumping all those dumb frick meme coins, and because they were all Doge clones, it cratered Doge as well

why wouldn't he? he probably just did it with doge
maybe not for himself personally to keep heat off himself, but maybe for some friends/partners to benefit who would return a favor. Im just not so sure you get to his level wealth without scratching someone's back.
assuming he/others knew to sell after he pumped doge up but before he went on SNL saying it was a hustle after pumping it for so long. probably up tens of thousands of % on doge if not more, would be a perfect time to scalp any crypto on the market, it doesn't have to be about BTC itself
