and he also is claiming he didn't sell any bitcoin. they're just not accepting it as a payment?

There is dumb fud near the end of every cycle to trigger shorts. I was wondering what it was gonna be this time.

Looks like it’s gonna be btc being banned and/or regulated due to environmental concerns.

Here we goooo

Yea, pretty weird I'm sure they did their due diligence before buying. He also tweeted his tesla stock was too high before too... Not sure what his angle is

This Elon tweet doesn’t pass the smell test.

We know he knows bitcoin mining is good for renewable energy incentives as he wrote 3 weeks ago.

We know he likely knows the vast majority of mining is done with renewable energy

We know he said he would accept doge for space X which is also proof of work

Wonder if the Feds had a chat with him

If Elon actually has an ethics problem with Bitcoin, wait until he hears about the petrodollar.

I'm kinda baffled by Elon's moves here. I mean way to really piss of the entire crypto market.

Even though the whole BTC is energy friendly nonsense was laughable. Lot of money stacked behind ignoring BTC's faults.

I mean what changed between now and when he originally bought it? This makes little sense except for the reality where he did not fully understand the market he was getting into or the underlying technology. I find that extremely hard to believe but it’s just a baffling move

Elon being Elon and making provocative doge tweets for a laugh is one thing. Tesla actually buying BTC and putting it on the books was a big step for the crypto market and no doubt a lot more due diligence would have gone into that transaction due to SEC regs. That is what's puzzling about them coming out only a few months later with this. They either didn't actually do DD in the first place regarding BTC/POW,which is hard to believe, or something changed b/w now and then.

Something changing would be alarming if that is the explanation.
