I thought DOGE didn't have a capped supply? Kind of hurts the #HODL sentiment right?

I really don't understand the desire to own DOGE as anything other than a meme

it is PoW but offers none of the advantages of BTC, but all of the negatives. What am I missing here?

Has anyone done or seen a good comparison chart of blockfi vs Celsius vs voyager etc, as they relate to interest returns, user friendliness, and (perhaps most importantly) insurance/ safety? I've gone back and done some searches through this thread to see what's been discussed, but it seems kind of all over the place.

Cuban may need to hire a crypto guy but he literally has f u money so he is probably just having fun with it

idk i went to the dogecoin subreddit a few months ago and it felt like i was living in a simulation where my brain was going to explode if i continued reading any longer

they legitimately believe its going to be worth more than every other crypto someday and im not being hyperbolic

the rates are changing so its hard to really get a complete read on that.

i would say that blockfi probably feels safer to most people because its backed by fidelity now

I have a few "fans" around here

anecdotally I've used nexo blockfi celsius and iconfi without issues

with blockfi and celsius I've used for over a year, now. they've recently changed their rates so it's not as good as it used to be but still solid

Do you believe that this market is even remotely rational?

If the answer is yes then that is what you are missing.

Yeah I think I'm fomoing a bit on taking advantage of "guaranteed" return rates. Only risk is these guys go belly up or get seized and all my shite disappears

Also I watched that video somebody posted a few pages back, and the borrowing against btc thing is really intriguing. But those rates at blockfi aren't exactly inviting.

Total stupidity and I have friends far more interested in buying Doge than any legit crypto out there

keep in mind that it compounds every month so 6% is pretty solid but now they cut you off at 1btc and then the rate lowers

Celsius offers 1% interest if you put up 4x collateral. I think it is around 8% for a 2x collateral

btw for anyone wondering if you can borrow against your crypto collateral, it was a seamless process and the money was deposited into my account in a couple days

I'm assuming the legacy financial banks will be offering this soon for anyone still hesitant. technically fidelity already offers it
