I'm not sure what to think about ADA or charles and I've looked at it closely
he shares stuff on Twitter and it just seems like some low effort scam
LINK
country flags? universities? and some exchanges you can trade it? lol
still trying to keep an open mind about the whole thing

It will edgier bottom out or skyrocket - don’t think there will be middle ground with ada.
Polygon and Nucypher seem to be good ground level investments to put a little money in

What are people thinking ada can get up to in the next 1-3 years? I mainly just throw a little extra money here and there into btc and eth so I'm curious if I need to start adding ada as well, keeping in mind whatever I do throw into ada would be money that otherwise would've gone into btc

I just placed a limit sell on ADA, this one seems a little too sketchy for me.

Polygon is in my altcoin ETF, seems like it’s been coiling for a bit

If and big IF all the Africa stuff pans out I think it could be at etherium levels

I am not yet well versed in crypto but I did some reading of ADA and it seems to be the antithesis of what defi is about.
Let's take defi and add a regulating body and treasury... Nah mang. What am I missing?

I selfishly hope ADA does not get to ETH levels bc I sold my 2000 of them earlier in 2021

The Cardano hype machine has been next level for a while now

Not sure if I want to add it to my portfolio. What makes it so great?

It’s functionality (proof of stake) is basically what ETH is working towards. Their developer used to be on the ETH team.

The guy with the broke arm kinda has a point though. Governments do like to know where their money is. That’s the only thing that really worries me about all of it. But when people like Mark Cuban and Elon Musk embrace crypto like they have, along with banks and local governments trying to find ways to implement it gives me hope.

Banning crypto is just not a feasible option for governments. It’s pretty much unenforceable. And you’ve got public companies investing in the asset, so it seems that ship has sailed.
And you can expect KYC regulations to come into existence or be expanded upon and blockchain auditing to become a business as regulations increase.
But there is only so much you can do with cold wallets that change the public address every transaction. If people want privacy they will make it happen.

Nigeria banned bitcoin and now they have the highest adoption of bitcoin users per capita in the world. Banning bitcoin will lead to an avalanche of adoption. It legitimizes it.

The Fed already uses blockchain technology. That slipped by relatively unnoticed.
The real question about government, specifically American government, is will they pick winners and losers? I'd say the chances of this are they will, to the extent they can. This is the largest reason I use the methods of hedging I use. Those exchanges are defacto federally regulated (and guaranteed), and government always protects government. So government and large corporations don't like unknowns, nor do they like outsiders. Best chances of survival in a worst case scenario is copy them.

ADA should already be trading at $25 for the amount of hype it gets. It’s tremendously overhyped while being slightly undervalued in my opinion.

There is a part of me that knows they don’t want to ban it, because it’ll reveal how little power they have when they have no way to enforce the ban.
