So is this going to bit coin levels or are we seeing highs that its about to drop from?
Or is it anyone's guess and all your bastards are just getting your 8 sec rides?
Going to set up a coin base account tomorrow, or try at least.

This is frighteningly misguided.
how so?
NEM will offer similar services (smart contracts, notary services, ENS, etc) but in its sphere its backbone for several alts
ETH and ETC are literally clones right now. The only difference is stated future goals. There's a great chance that ETH is never able to get past 100 tps.
ARK, LISK, and WAVES all do variations of on-chain smart contracts. Doing so in a non-Turing complete manner is potentially the long term solution. These are rightfully all viewed as garbage right now, but that's a fine line to walk. EDIT: Some big dApps have already launched on these other platforms.
EDIT: All of this and I haven't even mentioned what will end up being the biggest ICO of all time - Tezos. It jumps straight to being proof-of-stake and directly competes with ETH right out of the gate.
Suggesting that ETH is Usain Bolt at the finish line of the London Games is horribly inaccurate.

Anyone else trying to get in on the BAT ico tomorrow morning?
You have a link where I can purchase? What time do I need to be ready?

I think most of us in here that are hodlers are hopeful it could reach and surpass bitcoin down the line, but who really knows. If you believe in the tech and believe it could revolutionize the future then the sky is the limit.

People on the eth subreddit went from super excited about bat to calling them greedy shite heads with a quickness.

Yeah they came off like some real douchebags. I'm staying away from BAT.

Just trying to bring some perspective and much needed cynicism to this thread. I'll let you go back to living in your bubble.

Rumor on reddit

Holy shite. This is going to be huge A few months ago China banned crypto withdrawals from exchanges, citing worries about citizens using crypto to skirt capital controls. It appears that this only applies to Bitcoin and Litecoin and not Ether: LINK Suddenly, all these citizens have a way to get their crypto off Chinese exchanges. They can break free from these capital controls and have the freedom to move their money as they wish. All they need to do is purchase and withdraw Ether

Was it with the exchange rate thing?
Posted on 5/30/17 at 11:04 pm to UnluckyTiger
I knew about the ban because of the investigation but this is the first I hear of eth being a loophole
