Is there a way on Coinbase Pro that i can easily see how much profit i have in a certain coin? Like the difference between what i bought and current. EToro is very obvious but CB can’t find it. Thanks.

According to the new Form 1040 draft, which the IRS released on Friday, if you only held crypto, but did not trade it, you can safely check the “no” box next to the form’s primary crypto question: At any time during 2020, did you receive, sell, send, exchange, or otherwise acquire any financial interest in any virtual currency?
So if all you did this year was sit on your crypto or transfer it between your own wallets without selling for fiat, you’re in the clear.

So, let's say I converted GRT to BTC, but never converted BTC to USD, I'm good? Or fricked?

That’s technically a taxable event tho I know most people wouldn’t voluntarily report it as such

that's the rumor

It was a binance cold wallet. Binance deleted their tweet hyping the purchase

That's the latest I've seen.

Edit: wasn't Binance that tweeted that it was their wallet. My mistake. I'll post link in a moment.

What if you have ETH staked and earning interest you can't withdraw?

Are those earnings a taxable event even though technically you can't get the ETH?

That is a taxable event and you would have to claim that you trade crypto

has anyone looked into NFT's?

Chamath talked about them in this interview. His fund is investing in them right now and he thinks it's the future (along with crypto)

A boy I mentor shared with me his profits in NBA Top Shop, making much more than working months at his family’s Asian bistro. I didn’t quite understand the value of dunk highlights of players I’d never heard of being worth several thousand dollars, and still don’t.

I’m 29 and thought myself to be crypto savvy but hearing about these NFTs made me feel very boomer.

This is all I have to add on the subject, carry on

Yes NFTs are a new wave, not personally interested but want exposure to platforms offering them.
Such as polka markets. Google them it will be big
