The problem is for bitcoin to get to 5million, sipping Pina coladas on the beach will have hyper inflated in price as well. I dont really look at this as trying to get rich, I look at it as trying to escape the liability of sitting in cash with the liquidity I've put into btc, and i fear that is the reality of the situation.

I just bought 16 more link at $22.

That will be a $15,648 profit once it hits $1000

I bought 281 LINK at ~$3, it's now $20. Awesome. But it's still small overall value. Do most people turn that into USD and run, trade for BTC, hodl ... ?

Crypto overall has been a nice unexpectedly positive investment for me...really nice surprise not having paid much attention to it over the years, but it's not life changing money yet. Just wondering if most here are just enjoying the ride or actually experiencing (or expecting) life changing $$ out of this?

Are you really trying to "day trade" BTC at this price point?

the inflation thesis could possibly be incorrect (or were too early) but it's pretty obvious that people do not have much confidence in the dollar right now

No more along the lines of selling high points and buying dips.

I'm not really worried about it, but just sucks.

the inflation thesis
a bunch of the big gurus are saying that expect it to hit more around April/may and for the real bull run to start then on a run to 50k plus.

It only sucks if you are trying to sell. I would just buy the dips with BTC and not sell. Do that stuff with alts.

Hey man, if you are making money "day trading" BTC with all of the fees, then props to you. Seems like a lot of work to me, compared to other alternatives. I never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed though.

That's a valid thesis, although Bitcoin has gained what...7 million percent in the matter of 10 years, yet a pina colada costs about the same as 10 years ago.

I know what you're saying, but I think it can still go up a life-changing amount without the world or U.S. being in a dystopia.

LINK has some serious attention right now from influential people on the Twitterverse.

We may see a run.

And somehow after this nice LINK run, it’s still down against BTC past 30 days by 1% and down 38% last 90 days
