Agreed. My gut tells me we aren't going to have a "Holy shite" day until the earnings report comes out. I am happy with daily 5 dollar increases until it pops. I hope the news and guidance from the big boys keeps us trending upward...

That, too. I recall being disappointed in the past from the bumps from these conferences. I think companies don't necessarily make earth shaking announcements at these conferences, but give more details about future plans.
IIRC, the conference Nvidia held in France earlier discussed the NBIS/NVDA partnership, but it was well after the actual announcement that NVDA was going to be investing in NBIS, so it didn't really generate he swings in prices.
I may be wrong, but that's the way I remember it.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on anything substantive coming out of the conference. A lot will be accomplished there, but nothing coming out of it that will move the needle…maybe some highlights at earnings call.
This stock will do very well this week without any news from the conference.

That happened before the conference in Paris (June 10-12). That was not during the quiet period, so they could make an announcement like that.
How did the stock do on or just after the day of the NBIS presentation?
I would be very happy with 8.9% after the this conference. I'm not sure how much of that 8.9% would be due to AI earnings or the conference though...

That is exactly what I was saying.
If we didn't have earnings happening this week, I probably wouldn't change my strategy or holdings at all, because of that conference. I think NBIS earnings in two weeks and the hyperscalers guidance this week will be more beneficial., and that is what is driving my investment decisions.

So here is the big question: what happens next week if we hit $140 this week.
All the hyperscalers shot their wad this week, and there is still another week and a half before NBIS announces their earnings. Any thoughts on how to handle that week?

This is the first time I’ve sat on calls that made 40% or so. I did put an order in to sell at 17 for my 11/14 120s. I’m out of pocket all afternoon. I figured it was just a dream. Who knows

I have quite a few ideas and really depends on where we sit after Friday morning bump. Halloween is usually a lull day too. Let’s talk about it as the week progresses.
I’ve got ideas ranging from selling puts, covered calls, just shares, to load up if premiums are fair.
Next week is going to take me a full afternoon Thursday to prepare, also need to focus on my other stocks and a potential load up before IREN earnings too
