I got an email the next day that i was in the penalty box. I bought and sold the stock before it settled. now I can only play with settled funds

Just make another account and put funds in it. If you're on E-Trade, you can do that. The new account isn't on hold. Same email and everything.

I ended up moving over into KTOV.
And of course after hours it looks like Microsoft was just granted a patent specifically referencing Microvision.

I wanted to get back into MVIS but I wanted to still be able to hit eject Thursday if needed and don’t see the funds settling by then. If this thing rockets now after my goddamn stop barely hit

I don’t think I’m gonna chase MVIS tomorrow. I don’t want to get in the bind of needing to sell and get slapped with a 90 day timeout.

If you wire money in your account you can sell prior to the sell, you won’t incur a violation, as long as the wired money is there to settle the buy. Wired money is considered settled immediately. At least that’s how the Fidelity rep explained it to me.
ETA: I just checked and I still get the warning if I try to sell. So this may not be a resolution. But fidelity rep said it would work.

I’m gonna just hope this KTOV offering gets absorbed. I mean it’s higher than the current price now. Still have the new drugs coming out so hopefully that works it back up.
I may say screw it and pull some other stocks out and at least grab a handful of MVIS back. I can’t miss the ride after all that.
